Whats "Normal"...

What is does it mean to be "Normal".. Well according too Wikipedia.. behavior, normal refers to a lack of significant deviation from the average. The phrase "not normal" is often applied in a negative sense (asserting that someone or some situation is improper, sick, etc.). Abnormality varies greatly in how pleasant or unpleasant this is for other people; somebody may half-jokingly be called "pleasantly disturbed".

The Oxford English Dictionary defines "normal" as 'conforming to a standard'. This, although almost right, is not entirely correct. "A normal" is someone who conforms to the ideals of society. This can be for any number of reasons, ranging from the positive (genuine admiration for and acceptance of society's standard, for example) to the negative (fear of humiliation, fear of rejection, fear of being thought mad).

So.. what kinds of "things" are normal ... going out with friends, eating peanut butter with a spoon, playing Nintendo for hours, sneezing 5 times in a row, driving with with your music blasting..

What about things like:
(These are actually things someone I know does..)
  • Brushing teeth with hand soap
  • Brushing teeth with Dishwasher detergent
  • Freezing candy corn
  • Making cookies with pancake mix
  • Making dinner while singing "Hit me baby one more time"
  • Eating salad covered in "spray butter"
  • Asking questions like "You don't want go to the mall, correct?"
  • .
  • .

If there are any other "Normal" things you want to add to my list, just leave a comment and let me know.

Opera Blast!

Over the weekend I decided to get a Redbox movie, redbox is in with the latest technology so I was able to rent the Movie online! After I picked out the movie I desired to watch I jumped in my car to go pick it up at the closest Redbox location, Albertson's. I walked up to the redbox location and started the "standing in line" process. There was only 4 people in front of me, so I hoped it would not take too long.
All of a sudden I hear some Opera like music coming from a vehicle driving near, the big old van drives to the curb right by me, and the noise is so loud, its wasblowing me away.. This older very short lady with a cane steps out of the van with a empty water jug (Albertson's has a water machine right next to the redbox) As she gets out of her van she comes and talks to his guy in front of me and me. She says "My brother just gave me a blessing and now I'm better, my hips doesn't hurt ( as she pointed to it) I went to that building and I got a blessing and now I'm" thats all she says and she then proceeds to go fill up her water, she finishes and gets in her van.

No, the story isn't over yet..

She then gets out of her van and starts doing some..preaching.. saying things like "Jesus is the man, he lives, he is the one we need to study ...."

He was a interesting experience just to see a elderly lady blasting music :)

Cool Hands

These are a very breathtaking form of art!!
It will take the artist four hours to do a hand. Then he photographs it for posterity.
I cannot imagine how he does the eyes so remarkably lifelike.
It took him 10 hours to do the two-handed Eagle in picture #2.
