Breakfast Sandwiches

Some days I am in a rush to get to school and need something quick for breakfast! So I decided to make some breakfast sandwiches!

Here is what you will need:

  • Muffin tin.
  • Eggs.
  • English Muffins
  • Cheese
  • Turkey (optional)
  • salt & pepper

First, spray the muffin tin with oil, then crack the eggs in the muffin tin and sprinkle salt and pepper on the eggs. Stick these in a 350 degree oven for about 10-15 minutes.

Perfectly cooked eggs to put on a English Muffin!

Toast the English muffins with some cheese. I put them in for about 10 minutes at 350 degree's.

I also added turkey to my sandwich! Then you just put everything together!

I made a dozen of these so I can freeze them and have them handy for breakfast!

Its been a while..

I have forgotten about my blog lately.  The last time I blogged was before the crazy holiday season.  I have been super busy lately and I am back in school full time and working part time.  Being back in school is pretty tough, lots and lots of homework non-stop, but I know it will be worth it in the end.

Just a quick update today, I'm off to a Superbowl party.

I go for the food :)

Homemade laundry soap

The other day I realized that I was almost out of laundry soap... so I decided to make more!

You will need:

1 bar of soap (any kind you want)
1 cup of Borax
1 cup of washing soda
a big pot ( that holds more than 2 gallons)
a grater
a funnel
a long spoon
2 empty gallon jugs/containers

Grate your bar of soap into your pot.

Fill one gallon jug and pour water into pot with grated soap. Cook until the grated soap dissolves.

Add the Borax and washing soda.

Bring to a boil.

Turn off the heat.

Add 1 gallon of cold water. Stir well.

Pour 1 gallon of your detergent into each container.

Now you have 2 gallons of homemade laundry detergent. I use 1/2 - 1 cup per load.

In the end I made about 3 gallons of laundry detergent for like $4!
