Birthday Boy Conner!

Yesterday my sweet baby nephew Conner had his 1st birthday!!
He is such a sweet, mild baby and always has a smile on his cute little face!
I sure do miss seeing him frequently. Love you little Conner!

Free is the way to be!

I'm still unemployed,,,, BUT I FINALLY got a call back from eBay today. I had a small phone interview and it seemed to go well.  The lady I talked to said she would be contacting me again in a few days!! It will be nice to have a job again.. I've been jobless for a month now, so I'm starting to go crazy, but I have caught up on a Lot of TV shows  :)


I haven't taken any pictures of our place yet because Kevin has a TV in the front room he is trying to fix. He found a 51" TV near THE TRASH!! The screen was a little dented, but he fixed that, so now he just needs to fix the convergence and it will be a completely working TV for FREE!!

So he is very excited about his dumper treasure. Like a week ago he found a nice working Lamp! Which is nice since we needed one for the office!  It is true that... One man's trash, is another man's treasure!!

On Sunday we went to Kevin's friends house to watch the superbowl, it was fun, even though I'm not into football. It was mostly fun because we played the new Mario on the Wii after.

Hide and Seek!

I've been hiding, if you've been trying to seek me!!
A few things that have happened recently:

-Quit my job
-Started packing up my house
-Searching for a place to live in the SLC area
-Having fun not working  :)


Right now I'm still in my "vacation week" of not having a job. Give me another few days and Ill be ready to get back to working again.  I recently applied for a job at eBay, so I hope to hear back from them!!!! I would love to work there, since I love, love eBay. I applied for a job in the support department, so I will definitely have some experience!

In other exciting news:
I have a twitter account and every now and then I play a trivia game, I won one of the games... over a month ago :)  and I won this sweet external hard drive, just for being good at trivia!! Oh yes, I was uber proud! So I had to show it off.

So for now, I'm going to go back and forth from St. George and SLC while I finish moving all my possessions and continue on the hunt for a job!

I will admit that take a little break is nice, but I don't want to take tooo big of a break  :)

Christmas Holiday

On December 23rd my mom, Mike, grandparents, aunt Pam, Dad and I went to Rachel and Bryan's house for our family Christmas party, plus my dad's bday party!  We ate some tasty food, then opened Christmas presents with my grandparents and aunt, then opened birthday presents with my dad!

On Christmas Eve I got out of work around 2, did a few errands, packed my bags and headed up to Cedar City to spend the night with Kevin at his parents house!! Kevin, his sister Megan and her husband Ryan drove down from Midvale and made it to the house around 4:30. I made it shortly after.  We all hung out and played games!!  First we ate delicious hamburgers, then started to play games!! We played Taboo for a while, then switched to a game I have never played before called Balderdash, it was very fun! Then we played Catch Phrase for a while, told stories... then went to bed.

Christmas morning we all got out of bed, then opened presents around 11:30. I got a cute new shirt, new sweater, gloves, perfume, lotion, new hat and a gift card to Aero!!  It was so nice!

The big thing I gave Kevin for Christmas was a new Blackberry Tour phone! He has been wanting one since his other phone was giving him trouble. He loved it and was speechless when he opened it!! It was quite a site to see  :)    After we opened presents we ate a tasty breakfast and played more Catch Phrase!! We all highly enjoyed that game! I had such a great time with them!!

Then Kevin and I left and headed out to my sisters house to open presents with the Wilson's and my dad. I got a cute sign my sister made, a game, some treats, a gift card and socks!!  Then Kevin and I headed home then got ready to head to my mom's house. We got to her house and ate dinner, she made some tasty soup and Rachel made some spinach dip. Then we opened presents with them I got a awesome beanie Mike made for me a gift card!

It was a very nice Christmas weekend and had fun spending time with my family!

I'm glad I got to spend it with Kevin too! He is so awesome, Amazing to me, I'm sooo glad I have him in my life!!

Thanksgiving!

This Thanksgiving we all went to my sister Rachel's house! We ate around 2, it was very delicious! For dessert we had pumpkin pie, apple pie and my sisters home made cheese cake! MMMmmm. It was so tasty.
After we ate we played apples to apples and told stories.

After we hung out with my family we headed up to Cedar City to spend some time with Kevin's family. We ate some food there too! Then we played Rummy Cube for a while, it is one of my favorite games, so it was fun to play! Over all it was a fun day, it was nice to see so many family members!

What would you do for a free tshirt?

Well let me tell you what I did. I play a trivia game on twitter and the sponsor of the last game was a site called mozy.com they offer a great online back up solution. They said they will give you a free shirt if you Did something for it. I Really wanted one of these shirts, for Kevin cause it fits him..since he is nerdy, so I was determined to get one.

What I did was wear a sign around the office that said "Mozy.com is Awesome!!"

Recently...

The past week has been kind of crazy for me!

Last Thursday I left work because I wasn't feeling well, and it all spiraled down hill from there. From Thursday to Monday all I did was lay in bed and watch tv, it was horrible and boring! I had some type of viral infection that made me weak, have a cough, sore throat, achy body, cough, and some. I think its the sickest I've been in my life and I never want to life through that again! my mother and father helped me out a lot too! I still have a small cough left, but I'm feeling much better!

Its seems like its hard not to get sick now days since its going around. Yesterday there was a coughing orchestra in my office, yes, lots of people around me are sick. I think we should take a few days and de-containment the building!!

I was sad I missed all the Halloween festivities, but I got to see some good pictures!
