Two years

March 1st was my sweet baby boys 2nd birthday!!

I still can't believe 2 years have gone by already.   This boy is such a sweet soul, he warms my momma heart all the time.  

We had a little party for Kasen with both our families, it was fun!

He got shy when everyone started to sing to him!

This kid got spoiled!  So many fun presents!!

He still LOVES balloons! 

On the day of his birthday we went to the park for a few hours with my nephews!

Kasen loves anything to do with being outside.  Balloons.  Applesauce.  Playing.  He is saying more words all the time!  His favorite is "moor peeesae"! (Usually means he wants more food)

We love this boy and we are glad he is ours!!

About a month ago we got Kasen's pictures taken!  They turned out so cute. I love this little boys smile!!

One year ago

One year ago this sweet soul joined our family and changed my life for the better. 

I am in complete shock that it's already been a year.   It's completely bittersweet to watch your child grow up.  

This morning I started to reminisce about his birth as I was lying in bed. It all started around 7am in the morning when I started to having some small cramping.   It continued the rest of the day and got stronger and more painful.

At 9:28pm this beautiful baby boy weighing 6 pounds and 12 ounces was born in the comfort of our home.   

I can't believe a year ago was the first time I held my boy!

He was a pretty good nurser from the beginning.   Though my milk came in 5 days after I had him, so we did have a few struggles.   Around 9 1/2 months he started primarily only nursing at night.   Then a month later he completely stopped nursing. It was a bit bittersweet. I loved the bonding him I was able to have just with him! 

On February 17th he started taking a few steps. Then started to walk the rest the day. Now he is a wild, walking boy!

Right now he is busy teething, playing and eating.

Last week was Nathan's 15 birthday!
I can't believe my "little" brother is already 15 and about 4 inches taller than me!

Yesterday was Conner's 3rd birthday!!

To celebrate, we went to the park and played, got lunch, went bowling and went for frozen yogurt!!

I sure do love this boy! He is such a sweet, smiley boy!

A week ago I turned 24! woot!
Last Monday I had a family birthday party!

My birthday was on a Tuesday, so I did have to work. After work I went to dinner with just a few friends. We went to Panama Grill, since I had never been there, and it was good!
