Thanksgiving Extravaganza

As you all know last Thursday was Thanksgiving!!
For thanksgiving my family and I went to Cedar City where my Prestwich relatives were staying. My uncle Mike rented the conference room in the Marriott hotel, where we had our little get together.
We had to arrive sharply at 2:00pm, Cody and I arrived at 1:45 (Cody likes to drive fast sometimes ;)
As everyone gathered, we picked the our seats.

Soon after everyone had arrived and we began devouring the scrumptious fest.
My favorite is always the mashed potatoes!
The food was so tasty! After I ate I wanted to go and take a nap!
After we ate, we exchanged gifts, just not any gifts, White Elephant Gifts.
We all put the gifts in the middle, and each person had to pick one, but just because you pick one, doesn't mean you will end up with it, someone else may steal it.
I ended up leaving with a mini back massager.
It was fun to see which gifts were most popular. I brought pomegranates as one gift, and the movie "Elf" and pop rocks as the other. I believe the pomegranates were passed around the most, but uncle Mike ended up with them.

Soon after we had some tasty pie, which I didn't have room for, so I just have a small slice, then we all decided to start cleaning up the food and garbage, and putting away tables and chairs.

Soon after he tables and chairs were cleared, Nathan, Cody, and I started playing "Monkey in the middle" soon after Bryan, Aaron and Ryan joined, which made it a very intense game.

After we ran around and worked off some of the many calories we just gained, Aaron, Cody, Nate and I decided to go play Aaron's Wii.
We played bowling, baseball, boxing, and tennis.
After we all got bored with that, we went down stairs to see what the rest of the family was doing.
Everyone was just sitting around playing games and socializing.
Soon after my family (who lives in St. George) decided to call it a night and we headed home after the eventful day.
I had a fun time seeing my extended family I had not seen in a long time.

Here are a few pictures taken throughout the day!

I remembered there was a mini back massager the other day and was thinking that I should have grabbed it...
