Christmas update

So Christmas morning at 9:00 I went over to my mom's house and we ate some exotic fruits, including star fruit, so I decided to take a picture!



Shortly after all our family members were at the house and we started opening presents!

St. George snow!

No no.. That is not an oxymoron.. it really did snow! and I have the proof!
Wednesday day it started snowing.. then continued through the night. It was a very exciting time for St. George, since its very rare too even snow.. let alone stick. Thursday was called out as a snow day! So my brother was very excited!

So Wednesday night I was studying for my law final and it was about 11:45pm, i noticed my back porch was very bright, so I thought I left my light on. Then to my surprise it was not my light, it was merely the snow reflecting from the moon. It looked so pretty outside. I went a little picture happy taking pictures of the cool snow. In the pictures you can't tell it was bright out side... but it really was!

So it was a fun experience to have an actual snow day!.. even though I still went to work.

So the semester is over. YAY. I only have one more semester, 4 classes, till I am finished with my associates. Its not much and it seems to be taking forever. I think most people get there associates in 2 - 2 1/2 years. But I am working full time so its taking me a bit longer.. ahh.
It will be so nice when it is over and I can have a break... and just work :P

My sister is in town from California till the 29th, it will be fun to have her here for a while!
Last night her and my dad made some tasty Mexican food!

Its about time!

WOW!
Its been a while since I have had time to do some serious blogging, sure I confess, I have a mass quantity of homework calling out my name. The last month (Okay, Monthsssss) have been pretty hectic and crazy.

A. I moved! Finally! I had been looking for over 2 months now and found a nice place close to my mom and close to my good friend Katie! Here are a few pictures of the place. Just keep in mind.. I haven't unpacked yet nor have I added any type of decor (unless a wall clock sitting on my table counts!)

My coffee table has loads of homework scattered on it, and I am currently sitting on my lovely dark green couches!


This is my lovely kitchen, its a pretty nice size, with lots of cabinet space, which I love!
If you look closely, you will see a pot on the oven, Yup! I was cooking something!





This is my dinning area! Currently replacing my kitchen table is a big chair and a futon, but my kitchen table should be here shortly!


Then I have three rooms and two bathrooms, I didn't take pictures of them because.. they are all mostly filled with boxes.. well my room does have a bed!

The school semester is almost over! Just have to get through two days of class, then finals next week! Then I get a nice break of like 3 weeks or a month! Then I have to go back for Spring semester, which hopefully after I will be done! YAY!

Update nation!

WOW!
Its been a while since I had really given an update on myself, thats wow busy I have been.
So here it goes..

On November 3rd I went too Vegas to see one of my favorite bands, Rise Against, in concert! Which was completely exciting and worth getting only 4 1/2 hours of sleep the next day.

I have been house hunting for a while now.... like 3 months. I FINALLY found a cute town home, referred too by my grand friend Mr. David K! Its a 2 bed, 2 bathroom with a little living room and a nice size kitchen! I'll take pictures when I get stuff unpacked. Its close to everything, only 5 minutes too school, a few blocks away from my mom and I also live right by my good friends Katie, Vanessa, Ashley and Dave!!

Other than unpacking and organizing I have been busy with school, i have two tests this week that I have too study for. Then only a month left until I have a break! Woo wee!

For Thanksgiving my Sister and her family are going to SLC to have Thanksgiving with Bryan's parents, my Mom is going to California to have Thanksgiving with my sister, so I am having Thanksgiving with my Dad! We are not positive as to what we are doing yet though.

The next thing I am excited for is the TWILIGHT movie coming out this Friday! Yes, I know some people think the books are lame..(just because you have not read them :P) I am going on Saturday for my works Christmas work party and bringing along my Sister and bro-in-law! It shall be fun!

Round two

So last weekend on Saturday night I went to Mesquite... yes again!
Jason came and picked me up then we went and picked up Katie and headed on our way!
We got there about 8:30 and the party bingo session parted at 9:00! I was definitely excited for my first "party" session of bingo!
Katie's brother and sister in law met us there too!
After 3 or 4 rounds of bingo Katie's brother got Bingo and won $500!!
Then like 10 minutes later my name got picked for the drawing, i got to pick a # on a envelope to determine what i won, and it ended up being $100 and two bingo coupons! I was pretty excited!

After playing bingo we played slots for a bit, I played the wheel of fortune game for a while, it was fun! I ended up winning a whole $17.83, but on the up side I only put in $10! Hoot!
After playing the slots we decided to go back and play another bingo session!
None of our party was as lucky this time, but it was still fun!


This weekend I had a two friends over Friday and watched a few movies, then on Saturday I went to Tuacahn and watched "Les Miserables", I went with a few of my Co-workers, because one of our c0-workers was in the play. The production was awesome, the only downside was it was FREEZING, it was like 45 degrees, so when we first got there i immediately got some hot coco to help warm up, plus i brought a long my nice jacket, a scarf, two pairs of socks and a blanket, but yet, i was still cold. The play got over around 10:35 and we all RUSHED back to the car to turn the heat on. After I got home I was still freezing cold even after having four blankets on top of me.

Today I decided to be a bit lazy! I got caught up on a few tv shows, took a nap, and also did some homework. Then I went to sonic with a few friends to visit a friend that works there then went and saw the Wilson's. Bryan was at his friends house, so Rachel, Brayden and I went and got some hot coco. Brayden was being so cute in my car, he kept talking about various things like "we ride in carie's car" "look its lights" "over there its a truck" "oh more lights" "its cold". He is becoming quite the talker! Rachel is also pregnant with another boy! We were discussing some options for boys names today, they haven't decided yet though.

Well I better go finish my home work, school is definitely keeping me so busy, I can't wait for it to be over :)

Past Weekend's

The past two weekends I have had lots of adventures! I have been SOO busy lately I have not been able to blog about them.. so here I go!

Friday the 12th I had a movie party with two of my good friends, we watched "Rent" and "boiler room" both very good!

Then Saturday the 13th was my birthday! I had a very fun afternoon with my family! My dad came down and we all met at Rachel & Bryan's and had lunch, which consisted of sandwiches, which are one of my favorites! Then we played my favorite game "Phase 10" and Rachel made me a homemade Chocolate cake, which is also my favorite! Then I got to open some awesome presents, I got some new books! chocolate bars, a new shirt, an orange (From Brayden), $21, and a Awesome new shirt!

Then on Sunday I opened by presents from my Mom and brother and they gave me more of my favorite things!

After that little party I went home and got ready for my night adventure! Katie and Tanya from work took me to Mesquite to go play Bingo, ya that sounds ghetto, but it was fun!
None of us won anything, but it was still so fun, my first Real bingo experience! Plus, I was SO close to winning, we are definitely going back again! After that did a little gambling, I was doing pretty good for a while, but in the end I came home empty handed.

Last Friday was SO exciting, my friend Megan and I went to Las Vegas to go to a Janet Jackson concert, we left town at four and went straight to the Mandalay Bay to get our tickets, then we took a taxi to the mall and went shopping for a bit and ate! Vegas has the BEST stores!

Around 7:30 we rushed out of the mall and find a tax, we asked around on where to find one and was directed to the casino next too us, where we found a line full of about 30 people, we were freaking out a bit at this point because the concert started at 8:00, but the line went down in like ten minutes and we were on our way.
We arrived at our destination and got in our seats SO excited for the concert to start, in the end we waited a hour for it to actually begin (DANG, we could of shopped more!)

Janet Jackson is seriously amazing in her live performances, she song about half of the songs on her new album and a lot of her older, amazing songs, the concert was a little over two hours long, and SO worth it.

We got home around 3:00am and I went straight to bed! It was a Very fun night!




Saturday my search went on to look for a place too live, I called over twenty people and ended up only look at 2 places and left so many messages..I am still searching right now! So hopefully something comes ups.
Saturday night I went over to my friend Mike's house and hung out with a bunch of friends! It was very fun!

So recently I have been Crazy busy with school, I just took a test yesterday and one today, then I have to take one Sunday and Monday, plus do homework on top of that. So my week has been full of me going to school, going to work, going to school again then coming home and doing homework, going to bed, then ... repeat. I am so happy that is it pretty much the weekend.. even though I have homework and a test. Still no work or school!

After I find a new place I will put some pictures up of it!
